The Chianti Sculpture Park, a permanent exhibition of contemporary sculptures, was inaugurated in 2004 on an initiative of Piero and Rosalba Giadrossi, both art lovers.
The main characteristic of the Park is the integration of art and nature. Each artist visited the wood and made a site-specific proposal for the place chosen. The harmony of the sculptures with the trees, the sounds, the colours and the light is total. In fact, these man-made works do not extend beyond the limits of nature; rather, they are integrated with it and enhance it.
Artists from all five continents using many materials have been consciously chosen to give the visitor a quick overview of the variety and importance of contemporary art in today’s world.
Inside the Park an Amphitheatre has been created to offer visitors a rich programme of concerts in July and August.
Opening hours:
All year round from 10 am; closure varies depending on the season
Tickets:
€ 10 adults, € 5 children under 16 years
Groups:
Reservation is required. For groups of at least 12 people there is a free guided tour.
During the months of July and August concerts of classical music, jazz, opera, tango and other styles are held in the intimate setting of the Amphitheatre.
Performances are given every Tuesday evening starting at 19.00; this is when the sun sinks behind the wings, suffusing them in the magical glow of the sunset.

Only concert:
€ 10,00 adults – € 7,50 children under 16 years
Park + concert:
€ 15,00 adults – € 10,00 children under 16 years
The SEASON TICKET, made of marble, costs only € 50. It covers all 8 concerts and is transferable.
Advanced booking is not required for the musical evenings.
Sale of tickets opens half an hour before the concert.
When concerts are being performed, the Sculpture Park closes at 1800 (last entrance).
No visits are allowed during performances.
